Hello Inventors,
I am an industrial designer, and I have worked for a toy company in the past. I just wanted to reach out to any inventors who might need professional services to help them get their project on the ground. At Enhance Product Development, we can take your sketch to reality, and even provide licensing services. Feel free to check out our website at enhancepd.com

Hey Jess My name is Dan, first time inventor but I have at least a dozen great ideas. The one idea I have a prototype for and ready to go show off is a strategic board game where the board it self moves along with your characters. It's a simple design and could be manufactured for less that $75 per board. I've had lots of people play it and love it but getting a toy/game company to even listen to me is a different story. The idea is a solid A- material. It's a blank slate, meaning you could design it as a Star Wars theme or a Despicable Me theme very easily. Please get back to me if interested. Dan

Hi Dan
I understand this thread is a few months old but being new to the forum and hopefully engaging folks to contribute, I thought I'd throw my two cents in and hope it helps move you forward some. If you have already sorted it all out then congratulations!
Coming from the toy and game business and in particular understanding board games, I can tell you that game companies are looking for much lower price points. You may have an incredible idea that's engrossing and fun but, although price points have come up some in the industry, at a $75 ex factory cost, the wholesale cost to retailers would be about $105 (@40% margin). The retailer would typically want to double that! Which would put it in a different category.
Is there a way you could revisit your game to capture the experience at a lower price point? This would make it much more viable and attractive to mass market manufacturers and distributors. Lastly, have you costed the item based on any particular quantities or with any manufacturers?
Hope this gave you some insight.
