Hi All,
Off the toy invention track a little but as we get a couple of hundred visits I though it was worth a post...
An entrepreneurial friend of mine (with a little of my help) has launched a new web site called whatretailer.com. The site will list shops by category and have a logo link direct to the relevant part of the site so you don't have to search on arrival so to speak. The site has one page per category so for example under TVs you will (eventually) see logo and links for electrical retailers such as comet, currys, dixons, john lewis, house of frazer, m&s etc (anyone who sells TVs) all in one place. He hopes to attract companies that are lower in the search engine listings or 'unique' shops as well as the big names to attract people to the site initially. If categories don't exist (most common ones are covered) new ones can be created on request catering for companies selling products or services in any industry/field. Ad rates are customised and will be agreed based on the individual circumstances of the company, i.e., a small unknown retailer will pay just 10 a week for an ad. The site will be launched officially when enough interest has been gained or the site is topping the bing, google ads etc. Contact details are shown on whatretailer.com site.
If you might be interested in placing an ad the first month is free (starting from the official launch date - To be announced)
Thanks for reading,
