So I’m currently shopping around for a prototype shop that can help me further develop a toy concept. I have a working mock prototype made up from varies parts of existing toys in the market. However, there are design flaws that need to be improved and corrected.
Do most prototype shops, just go by a "honor code policy" when someone revels a new toy concept? I would like to receive a quotes from multiple prototype shops , but I’m unclear on how to describe my toy concept without the fear of this simple idea being stolen. I don’t mean to come off as paranoid, but completely new to this process and I would like to be cautious in this new venture. Any advice would be appreciated

Hi Jaybabble,
I would recommend Detekt design for prototypes. They have prototype facilities in china making it less expensive. Dan Roney runs it and will give you a fair price for 3D drawings and initial prototypes. He can also get first runs done in China again at reduced costs.
Hope this helps, Inventoy

toy agents and toy inventors are for the middle class and the rich , they are the only ones who buy off the companies to make their invention or inventions, beware of the scams and scammers and their toy agents and companies there all for the money and rich schemes after your money and then they come up with the lies why the invention can not be made or souled ,invented and no market for the invention or some kind of 2 minded talk garbage , the toy companies are all scams and scammers ,con- arts and their toy agents and their big or small companies online and offline they want the money and then they laugh at you and think it is a joke reaping off people and they get rich. and steal people ideas . beware of them all bunch of liars and scams ....and money thieves .... new funtiers .com is one of them , $100.00 up front and draws or cd and then they suppostly look in to the invention make shore nothing is like it on the market and patiented, and can license the invention etc.... bunch of lies , they do nothing ,and take your money .... and may even steal the invention for themselves . bunch of thieves and scammmers and liars. do not give any one any money , they are all thieves....ps better to invent your own ideal and make it and sell it yourself ,because the thieves are everywhere nowadays.

You need to get a patent pend or a patent , it will protect you from people stealing your idea, if you need to present the idea to agency or company make sure you sign disclosure agreements first before you say anything about your idea. I just got a patent for my pool vac idea and building a prototype with uinvent.org. I didnt have any problems so far, great customer service and they kept me updated on every stage since the beginning.
